We got new pets – hamsters!

I wanted to get hamsters after scrolling through instagram and because we also used to have hamsters back in Hong Kong and I also missed having hamsters. So my brother John and I asked our parents if we could have a pair, we thought they would say no, but gladly they said yes, and that surprised us. So we started to research for hamster shops and found one at UP town center at the second floor. When we got there, there were two kinds of hamsters – the very big ones( we didn’t like big hamsters) and some smaller ones( which were super cute) – the smaller hamster’s breed were called Roborovski dwarf hamster. My brother and I were planning to get two girls like we use to do, because (in case you don’t know) if a hamster has babies, and the mother hamster gets streesed the mother hamster would eat her babies! But my mom wanted to breed them, and our mom and the employee convinced us to get one boy and one girl, so we did. Back in HongKong, me and my brother were a bit careless in taking care of our previous hamsters. But now that I’m older, I’m taking more action in caring my hamsters. Making sure I don’t sqeeze them too hard, remember to refill their food and water. This is training me to be more responsible and more reliable.

We also bought the essentials stuff, cage, food, beddings, bath powder and the hamster balls too. It was hard deciding names for both the hamster’s, nd I decided that we named them from my favorite comedy show, FRIENDS. We named the boy Chandler and the girl Monica, and they got along together, they always sleep together cuddling up. Here are some pictures of them.
