The pianist (movie review)
The pianist is a heartbreaking movie of a polish man trying to survive the horrors of World War Two, this movie is a true story, the main character is Władysław Spzilman, the real Władysław Spzilman died in July 6, 2000 he was 88 years old at that time. He is a Jewish man who played the piano as a profession, the movie, the actors, the props, all of the details in the movie are great, it really captured the feeling in each of the scenes. This movie made me realize again, that we are lucky to live in a time where we are blessed with food and having our loved ones still with us. The parts for the movie is not suitable for younger kids, since it has blood, murder, slurs. There is one problem with the movie is that there are no translations at the part they were speaking German. My favorite part is when *SPOILERS* before his family died, he told his sister “I wish I knew you better.” Was sad for me. I will give this movie a 4.9 stars, overall this was a beautiful movie in my opinion .
