History – Dunkirk

So I had this group project and we had to decide on what our topic is, and we chose Dunkirk.

Here are some photos from our powerpoint, Battle of Dunkirk is when the germans are pushing the British and French soldiers in a corner, and now the British and the French are now trying to flee. Many soldiers had died while trying to escape, Winston Churchill was only expecting only 20,000 to 30,000 soldiers would only be rescued but actually 338,000 were saved. Remember that the Battle of Dunkirk was not winning the battle but escaping it.
