Our Christmas Holiday

It’s Christmas Time and it’s about love, gifts and family, but it is also Jesus’s birthday, we are also celebrating the birth of son of God, God sent an angel to tell mama Mary that she will have a child and she will name him Jesus, when everyone heard about Jesus coming the wise men and others went to follow the big star and they found baby Jesus in the manger.

(Fun fact the Bible doesn’t show how many wise men came to see Jesus, so it’s not just three but maybe more or less!)

Advent candles are used to show each day in December the candle is burnt down a little more, to the mark for the day, to show the passing of the days leading up to Christmas. The four Sundays preceding Christmas, which is when Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, are recognized for four virtues. The candles on the Advent wreath symbolize hope, love, joy and peace. The candles are lit in that order.

On Christmas we went to my grandmother’s house late at night and the adults kept karaoke non stop, it was so loud I could hear my heart vibrate. I fell asleep because I was soo tired and missed out on some of the fun, I was woken up because we were going to say happy birthday to my brother John, (his birthday is on Christmas) The babies were getting impatient and wanted to eat the cake, I enjoyed my time with my cousins and family members. The next day we open our gifts, I got some clothes, money and headphones.

We went to the mall and played at the Fun City, there was a bouncy house, ball pit, sand area, lego area, karaoke, Just Dance, Parkor, cranes and role play, I enjoyed the bouncy house and the Parkor area. The next day we went to church and talked about the true meaning of Christmas and about taking care of our loved ones.
